Our District Minister CJ McGregor is joining us today from the London New Unity church at Stoke Newington. In addition to his role there, he has oversight over all the Unitarian churches making up the London District and South Eastern Provincial Assembly - of which the Old Meeting House at Tenterden is one. It will be great to hear his views on growing Unitarianism in Kent, so do join us for 11am.
This morning’s service will be led by our own Peter Cheeseman. The hour of Unitarian hymns, readings and thoughtful words will be followed, as usual, by time for getting together over tea and coffee.
The theme of the service is ‘Liturgy’ in Unitarianism - past and present. What is it and would it be a help or hindrance to our free and enquiring church? Is Unitarianism a non-conformist sect of the Christian church? Can we say ‘I believe’ in anything?
